It mounts with supplied unbranded, single-use adhesive dots, so the standard installation does not require drilling.

The mounting area should be smooth, clean, dry, stable, and fully cured. Do not apply the dots over dust, moisture, oil, peeling finish, fresh or uncured paint, a weak finish, or a heavily textured surface.
Test one adhesive dot in a hidden area first. Finish response varies, so the no-drill mounting method is not a guarantee for every paint, stain, wood finish, glass treatment, or coating. Compatibility with Low-E coatings, tint, and aftermarket film has not been verified; ask the door, glass, coating, or film manufacturer before attachment.
Install with the supplied adhesive dots
- Hold the protector over the measured zone and confirm coverage and door clearance.
- Complete the hidden-area adhesive test.
- Clean the approved mounting area and let it dry completely.
- Apply the supplied dots using their peel-and-stick backing.
- Position the sheet and press each attachment point firmly.
- Open, close, latch, and lock the door to confirm normal operation.
The adhesive dots are single-use. To remove them, peel the dots away by hand and stop if the finish reacts unexpectedly.
